Zap zits naturally

Pimples are a common skin disorder that affects millions of people. With pimples, the skin is inflamed and the oil glands get infected with bacteria, swells up and then gets filled with pus. It is estimated by the American Academy of Dermatology that acne affects 40 to 50 million Americans. So you're not alone with this problem. Pimples typically appear on the face, back, neck and shoulders.

Pimple causes

Acne and pimples are mainly caused by the overproduction of oil. Blocked hair follicles do not allow this oil to leave the pore. This often leads to a clogged pore and bacteria grows inside the hair follicles, which is acne. However, the growth of an eye or pimples can be caused by other factors as well. It can also be caused by hormones. Genetics can play a role too. Stress triggers acne. When you are stressed out, your skin produces hormones that stimulate your oil glands to make testosterone that results in increased oil production and clogs pores. Using the wrong detergent can cause acne. Most detergents contain harsh chemicals. These chemicals might be too harsh for your skin. Once you put your clothes on after washing them, your skin reacts to the residue that is left on the fabric, resulting in breakouts. Another thing that can trigger pimple breakouts is not washing your face after a workout. Skipping a shower after you exercise allows bacteria, dirt, makeup and oil to mix with sweat that gets into your pores and causes breakouts.
